Jeffrey Zuckerman, M.D.
My journey into regenerative medicine began first as a patient. Not trained to “think outside the box,” I wasn’t willing to accept new therapies and ideas countering mainstream medical practices and therapies. However – suffering from fatigue, weight gain, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol levels, cold intolerance, and a list of other symptoms – I turned to my local friend who practiced bio-identical hormone replacement therapy. After beginning therapy, my world changed– I began to lose weight, gain muscle, and feel invigorated with improved mental clarity and work productivity. This began my enlightened journey into bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and regenerative medicine.
After two years of training under the guidance of world-renowned Neal Rozier, M.D. and Worldlink Medical, I opened an office in conjunction with my ultrasound practice in Fairbanks Alaska. Having a clinical practice as a radiologist and now preventative health care physician has brought a new dynamic– combining the diagnostic and therapeutic benefits both practices afford.
My excitement for the amazing physical and mental changes of my patients put me on a path to not only treat, but also educate both patients and medical providers. I have since given multiple community presentations on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and regenerative medicine therapy, as well as been a keynote speaker in Alaska, Mexico, Peru, and Colombia.
I have more than 20 years of medical experience in both hospital and clinic settings. I earned my B.S. in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis (cum laude, 1985) and obtained my M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in 1989. I completed my residency at University Texas Medical Branch Hospital (1989-1993). I was American Board of Radiology certified in 1993 and I have extensive training in women's imaging, general diagnostic ultrasound, advanced ultrasound– such as fetal echocardiography, musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures– such as biopsies, and pain intervention. I’m proficient in interpreting advanced imaging– such as MRI, CT scans, mammograms, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopic studies.
I founded NW Lifestyle Health, Alaska Lifestyle Health, Fairbanks Ultrasound, LLC, Radiology Interpretation Services Inc. and First Choice Imaging, LLC. I will bring expertise and services sparsely available in the Northwest.
I'm certified by WorldLink Medical, the Academy for Preventive and Innovative Medicine in ABHRT (Advanced Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy) and have trained in regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, and laser vaginal rejuvenation (Femilift).
I’m bilingual in Spanish and love Latin dancing. My three, amazing children inspire me to be an example of living life to the fullest and giving back. I’m a member of the Rotary Club of Fairbanks (Alaska), the Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce, and the Vancouver, WA Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa Gentry, Executive Assistant
I graduated in 2004 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks with a BA in Communication with a minor in Business. I worked in the banking industry for over ten years, seven years serving as a Vice President managing a region of seven branches and developing leaders within the organization.
I joined on with Dr. Zuckerman in 2015 to assist him in his business ventures, currently serving as the Executive Assistant for Northwest Lifestyle Health in Vancouver. You can see me around town promoting the business as well as the smiling face when you enter the practice. I enjoy helping people achieve their optimal health and see the relief in their faces when they start feeling healthier.
In addition to my responsibilities at Northwest Lifestyle Health, I continue to act as the overall business manager for Dr. Zuckerman’s other businesses.
